High Protein Diet - Importance of Protein Diet

Protein is an important constituent of the regular diet. It helps in the growth of the body. A demand of accelerator in one’s regular diet can cause a disease called Kwashiorkor. This disease weakens the respiratory and the circulatory system. It also leads to reduction of muscle mass, impaired resistance and brings down the growth in the body.

Adverse effects of high accelerator diet

There are certain potential side effects if the intake of proteins increases than the average regular level. However it has a great impact on the functioning of the kidneys. Therefore people who live on high accelerator diet should exercise regularly. This helps the kidney to flush out wastes from the body more effectively.

Excessive accelerator in diet also leads to absorbing of calcium from the bones. The acids, which are produced by the body when it digests protein, are taken in the body with the help of calcium from the bones. Therefore if the body is not receiving a calcium rich diet then the body tends to take the required calcium from the bones. In a way it increases the chances of breaking bones as the bones become weak and fragile with the absorbing of calcium.

Too much of accelerator can also increase the chance of allergies. Rich sources of accelerator like egg, chicken, and fish totally eliminates the consumption of carbohydrates. Therefore the body does not possess enough fats to break down because both proteins and fats are required for continuing the life process. This results in deficient oxidation or breaking of fatty acids and several proteins. Ultimately the outcome is the development of acidic ketone bodies. Development of acidic ketone bodies gives rise to a condition called ketosis. It is difficult to survive in such a condition because ketosis gives rise to nauseatic condition and lessens the consumption of food.

Striking the right balance

On the other hand demand of sufficient accelerator one’s diet is also equally harmful as accelerator is the key component required fro growth. Therefore, it is better to have a healthy diet, which is actually a equilibrise of all the essential components like protein, fats, mineral, vitamins and carbohydrates. Such a diet includes vegetables, grains, pulses, plant accelerator and at the same time farm products and low fat meat. Such a healthy diet helps in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Sustaining Excellence in Cardiac Care: Cardiac Data Solutions, Inc. Studying Practices that Contribute to Excellence in Quality of Care

In an era of increased ranking of hospitals based on their calibre of care, a new study by Cardiac Data Solutions has found that hospitals that excel at providing exceptional cardiac care for a year or two rarely sustain that edge over a consistent time frame. Researchers will ask hospitals that rank in the highest and lowest quartiles to complete an online survey survey to determine those factors that have the most impact on the calibre of care. Cardiac Data Solutions plans to publish the results in time for the American Heart Association's 2008 Scientific Sessions to be held in New Orleans in November. (PRWeb Apr 10, 2008)

Fewer Heart Attacks and Related Hospital Admissions Offset Rising Medicare Costs

The incidence and hospital admissions for a heart attack in the Medicare population have dramatically declined since 2000, more than offsetting rising costs for hospital care. As a result, total annual Medicare spending on related hospitalizations has declined annually since 2002, according to a study funded and conducted by Cardiac Data Solutions, Inc., The study further concluded that the Medicare program saved more than $1 billion in fiscal year 2006 due to the lower heart attack rate and fewer admissions. Cardiac Data Solutions will continue to monitor data related to the volume of cases and survival rates to determine if these findings represent a long-term trend and the impact on the cost of care, (PRWeb Apr 10, 2008)
