1. Know Your Inner Self-Talk

Your thoughts have lot of power. But negative thoughts are very harmful. They affect your mood, create pain and mental illness.

So when you are under stress or covering a life-challenging conflict, you can hear a sort of running commentary in your head. You should always notice that ‘voice in your head’.

Don’t interfere with the voice nor cut it off. Just be neutral and listen to it as if some one was talking to you. This is a wonderful way of evacuating negative thoughts which create disorder.

If you are a careful listener, you will find most of your ‘inner voice’ is illogical and illusion. The moment you discover it, you will have great relief. So being vigilant and perceptive your own self plays the vital role in curing panic attacks.

2. Be Optimistic

Be optimistic if you feel it difficult to stand neutral and endure the pain. Every time you get a negative thought, don’t react to it immediately. Look at the situation from all the positive angles. Think and imagine positively.

So swap your negative thought patterns with positive thought patterns.

3. Focus On Breathing

Always breathe like kids. When you suffer from panic attacks, you need to take slow and deeper breaths. So when you feel anxious or tense, shift your concentration onto your breathing. Then breathe slowly and deeply.

Practice diaphragm breathing. It will cool down your mind and body. So you can cure your anxiety and panic attacks easily.

4. Learn To Relax

Practice relaxation techniques. For example, Jacobson progressive relaxation technique, meditation and self-hypnosis. These will wage you perfect relaxation. And you can also do certain yoga postures like ‘corpse pose’ for instant relaxation.

5. Change Life-Style

Make some lifestyle changes too in your life. Don’t take alcohol, coffee, tea or sugary carbs. By making healthy lifestyle choices, you help yourself to over come panic attacks.
